We are second graders at Aiken Elemenatry from Brownsville, Texas USA.
We live in a very warm and beautiful city that borders the country of Mexico. We
are located in the southernmost tip of Texas bordering the Rio Grande River
and the Gulf of Mexico. We are only minutes away from a beach. Our culture is
rich with Mexican and American traditions.   Here are some of the things we
like about Brownsville.

The things I like about Brownsville are that we have the most food we need and
that help us grow . We have a school and in other places they don't have school
and we have books and more things to learn. The teacher teaches us how to
read and write pretty. In other places they don't have paper or water or any
lunch to eat.

The things I like about Brownsville are the houses because the houses have
different colors. The things I like about Brownsville are the schools and the
teachers. The things I like about Brownsville are the people because the
people of Brownsville are very nice.

The things I like about Brownsville are the schools because the teachers are
nice. I like the people because they give the other people good things. I like the
stores because they give us lots of good food and the food that they give to us
are my favorite. I like my friends because they share pencils. My friends name
are Perla and Sarahi and Ruby and Angelica.
