VIEW OUT OF THE WINDOW FROM ROSLIN , USA

The view outside beckons us all day. We can see the school
playground and fields, sometimes empty, other times filled with children
playing.Their laughing and screaming make us want to join them.  They are
playing basketball, football, and kickball.
Muddy feet bring the playground into the class. The dormant grass, the black paved surface, pebbles, and sand all end up in little blobs on our floor. An occasional  seagull adds its waste to the "blobs".
It's very sunny this day but we often see torrents of rain
covering our field, with seagulls excitedly eating the insects that rise to the
surface in a rainstorm. The high chainlink fencing around the schoolyard allows the shrubbery and pine trees to show through and the evergreen is mixed in with trees whose leaves have disappeared.
We love our view as we can look out during our lessons and dream of where we want to be. Our teacher isn't thrilled with it as we get very distracted and the noise of children playing right outside our window
during the course of 4 rotating lunch periods is very difficult to deal with.

We hope you enjoyed hearing about the view from our window.
